Welcome to Sankalpa by Gosia
Sankalpa is a beautiful Sanskrit word meaning “intention” or “resolve.”
For me, setting a clear intention is the foundation not only of our yoga practice but also of how we approach life off the mat. It’s a way of creating space for mindfulness, helping us to stay present, overcome challenges, and move forward with purpose.
In each session, we start by setting a Sankalpa, grounding ourselves with a clear intention that guides our practice. From there, we flow through breathwork, self-myofascial release techniques, strengthening, and stretching, creating a balance between effort and relaxation. We end with Savasana, often accompanied by meditation, allowing you to integrate the practice on a deeper level.
What I love most about this sequence is how it brings together movement, nervous system regulation, and personal growth. Every session is a chance not just to move your body, but to reconnect with yourself. I invite you to join me on this journey and discover a deeper sense of peace, balance, and transformation.
“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is what you learn on the way down.” -Jigar Gor
Through mindful movement, releasing tension, and connecting with the breath, yoga offers us a path to inner calm and strength that extends beyond the mat. It encourages not just physical resilience but also a deep sense of well-being, helping us navigate life’s daily challenges with greater ease and awareness.
Practice is an investment in our well-being, where well-being means discovering the best ways to build healthy habits that support us on the path to longevity.
Whether you’re dealing with posture issues, back pain, or migraines, movement can be a powerful tool for healing and long-term health.
Take a step into this journey and explore how it can bring balance and clarity to your life. I invite you to join our sessions, where together we create space for growth, reflection, and a deeper connection to ourselves.
